Bader ’90, ‘91G to Speak at High Performance

The keynote speaker for the third annual High Performance
Computing Day will be Professor David Bader. Professor Bader
is on the faculty of the Computer Science and Engineering
Department at the College of Computing at Georgia Institute
of Technology.
He also serves as Georgia Tech’s Executive
Director of High Performance Computing. Dr. Bader, who is a
Lehigh graduate holding a B.S. in Computer Engineering
(1990) and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering (1991), will be
speaking on Petascale computing -- the largest type of
parallel computing problems that scientists and researchers
conduct today.
In addition to this keynote speech, there will be a morning
set of tutorials, a buffet lunch, and afternoon sessions
featuring faculty research presentations. There will be

especially more detail about the morning topics and
afternoon sessions.
