LTS Publication Wins National Recognition

This fall the Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group for College & University Computer Services (ACM SIGUCCS) chose the LTS broadside Getting Connected @ Lehigh for its “Best of Category” award in the General Service Promotional Materials class.

The Communication Awards recognize excellence in developing useful and attractive publications and provides ACM SIGUCCS conference attendees with the opportunity to review publications that may help them develop or enhance their own efforts.

All of the winning entries were displayed at the SIGUCCS conference in St. Louis during October and on the SIGUCCS official web site at www.acm.org. LTS showcased the publication at a conference poster session as well.

The judge for this category shared the following comments about the LTS entry: “Very comprehensive and nicely done piece. Visually very appealing with strong unifying themes. Beautiful piece. Well organized.” LTS has been publishing this introduction to LTS services for more than five years with new students as a target audience.
